It depends on what kind of flat screen television you have if you have Plasma yes you can damage your television screen because Plasma televisions get burn in where the image gets burnt into the screen and you will see it all the time....if you have a Plasma TV then limit your game playing to no more than 1 hour or 2 hours maximum and don't pause your game and leave it there for more than a few minutes. If you have an LCD flat screen TV your good to go those televisions are made for everything including playing game consoles....you'll have no worries with an LCD TV.

Yes. Most flat panels are very new and therefore have the correct connections for games. Check to see where the game console cables might plug in, and go ahead and try.
It's a blast to play with the video so big and clear.

Yes, depending what kind of inputs the TV has and what kind of console you are talking about.
The issue you maybe talking about here is the burn in affect, you may want to research that a little to see if there still is a problem, I know this is not an issue with LCD but Plasma not so sure .

Yes. Depending on the video game console, you may need a convertor or a differnt cable.
Consult major electronic stores like Best Buy for the specific cable needed for your console.

You can if the hook-up adapters are right such as av cables or s-video on each, but don't do it with a plasma or it could burn the image onto your screen. Consult your TV owners manual about this or if interested you can check this: http://ssandbs06.tvwallpro.hop.clickbank.net/

Yes but you may have to buy a different connection. The Wii is a good example. You need to buy a special connector to hook it up to an HDTV.
