Does wearing mascara for several years make your eye lashes thin in time? I've noticed mine are not as thick as they were. I'm only 19 and have only been wearing mascara for a few years. I'm just wondering why my eye lashes seem just a little thinner than they were.

It will if you put too much on and remove it improperly. Use cream or a very hot cloth to loosen it and remove it otherwise you pull your lashes out. If you pull them out by the follicles, that's it for that lash. Besides, thick mascara looks really cheap, especially on the lower lashes. Use it, and all makeup, sparingly.

I've been wearing Mascara for decades 80's, 90's, to this day, and my lashes are no thinner than when I was a teen....

Mine are thick but I don't think that mascara does that to you. I wear it too so I don't know about that ask your mom or someone who wears make-up

I have been wearing mascara for twenty years and they are still as long and cute as ever. Don't use the waterproof kind. Its harder to come off and you have to rub. You may need to take Biotin. Its good for hair.

i've been using mascara for quite some time, i don't think it effects eyelash thickness...
