Other than a waroed head or a bad gasket does any one know what can cause water to get in the oil of the truck? I have taken it in but after having the head ground and the gasket replaced it still has water in the oil. I can't afford to keep throwing money at this but while I can ask the questions I don't know the first thing about motors.

If it is a 4 cylinder and the head work has already been done, the most common issue is a worn timing chain grinding a hole in the timing cover right behind the water pump. This problem however, is usually apparent to the mechanic when the head comes off because the timing chain guides are broken and the chain is much too loose. The chain usually makes quite a bit of noise when the engine is running, particularly when you rev it up at idle.
If it is a 6 cylinder I would suspect a crack in the head. Have it dye checked by a competent machine shop. Eroded passages (more properly, a low spot in the deck) in the block were the reason for the VO6 campaign in the early 90s but a new gasket would temporarily fix it nonetheless.

It really sounds like a cracked head gasket. If you had the head gasket replaced you need to make sure they actually replaced it. You may also try flushing the radiator, because if you did have the gasket fixed but didn't flush the radiator, there could be some left over sludge in there.

The engine block could be cracked. Sounds like a serious problem and could be time to start thinking about another vehicle.

Sorry : (

is it a v6? the block's deck could be eroded, from when the head gasket was blown, or you could have a cracked head.

Blown Gasket. Try one of those gasket sealers that you run through your radiatior, and look to sell it or trade it in.
