ok there is this gal i have some nice feelings for. just curious whether she might be bi/les cuz of certain vibes i get from her. these are some of the vibes/info, hope someone can help me clarify or if i am just thinking so cuz i like her.
- she doesnt have a boyfriend currently; profile says single, but in social circle we hang out with we all assume everyone is str8 and dont ask unless u admit or have a partner.
- she is ok with talking about les etc, ie not homophobe in public
- she thinks 'bi have the best of both worlds' and i have heard her mention that on several occasions
- is rather independant and mentions that she wouldnt mind living without a man for the rest of her life
- watched brokeback mountain (does this even matter?)
- has les friends; my social circle is all st8, i mean im ok with gay people, its just that the friends i have tend to be str8 since i was str8
so am i thinking too much into it?

Well she probably is bisexual, or at least bicurious. Alot of these are stereotypes, but they could also go as HUGE signs. Your best bet would be to simply ask her about it. If she isnt homophobic then she shouldnt have any problems with u approaching her on the subject.

What about the real deal. U like her and want to know if you can get with her, without getting hurt by her telling you she is str8. Well go for what u want. Ask her out. JUST HER. Go somewhere you both can talk and just chill, without being bothered. A museum, an art gallary, a new restaurant in the Gay area of town. Think of things you want to ask her and go for it. HAVE FUN.

Are you trying to figure out if she is heterosexual? Would you be okay with her being bi or would you prefer if she was just les? Are you openly gay? Does thought of having sex with a man sound very unpleasing? She sounds like a cool person that you are kind of close to. I think to save yourself the strain. Just ask her if she has ever been with a woman or could she see herself being with a woman. You could do it directly or wait to on those inconspicuous moments. If she does like woman and she isn't ready to come out, but she wants the experience she just might come to use first depending on how comfortable she is with you. I suggest you go through this thought process a little more if you feel like she is worth it. However, it has been my experience to find someone who is more defined to take out the guess work for you.

I also have a friend that keeps giving me certain vibes but I don't know yet since while she questions me, she pretty much avoids when I question her the same thing!! lol (almost like a shy person would if they don't wanna answer or scared to)
But your friend could be bisexual or bicurious.
But like everyone tells me, the only way to find out for sure is to ask.

Since she is so open just ask her. Maybe you guys will make a perfect match. The worse thing that could happen is she isnt a les or bi.

Very likely. But just don't jump to any conclusions just yet. Maybe she's simply very open. I think your best bet is asking her straight out. Since she seems to be understanding you won't have any trouble with her.
