Certain PDF files are created with editable fields in them (i.e. IRS forms). If you want to edit or place text into a PDF file, you can go to www.download.com and find PDF editors, but most of them are only shareware. If you can fork out about $20, you can find some good software. For even MORE money, you can get Adobe PDF Professional, which can allow you to design your own PDF's.

If you have Acrobat Professional, yes you can. You can even use Reader to type on some of them, if they are set correctly.
