Although I have experienced the stretching of pregnancy this one has me stumped. They say every one is different though. I wouled just tell you that the best thing to do right now is just call your doctor and ask them. They will tell you if the think you need to come in or not. You can experience cramps from being dehydrated. You need extra fluids during pregnancy and if waters are low cramping can seem more painful. You should drink lots of water over the next two hours and of they don't subside than it is being caused by something else. Congrats on feeling the first kick it is amazing. Wait till you are as big as me (41) weeks and your whole belly moves and it looks like something straight out of an alien movie! good luck

I'm sure you're alright. I had horrible upper back pain a couple weeks ago for over a week and I'm only 14weeks today. I couldn't even do anything, bc every movement was excrusitating... I went to the doctor (my ob/gyn) and she said I had a muscle spasm and to take motrin... but I'm allergic and she said well thats too bad because thats the only medicine ibuprophen) that is going to help my muscles at all. So if your not allergic to motrin/ibuprophen take that and see if it helps... If its not better in a couple days go see your doctor... Hope I helped!

That baby is getting bigger.
Round Ligament Pain is probably the pain your feeling. Its a dull ache that hurts worse if you move the wrong way. Anyways these ligaments support your uterus.
As far as the headache that's normal also. Lay a cold rag over your face and lay down.

It sounds like your ligaments are stretching. I forget the name, but there's a pretty large one that is connected to the uterus, and it will stretch during pregnancy, sometimes causing some pain like you've described. It should subside on its own. The headache probably isn't related, but it could be a sign that you're a little dehydrated.

It's completely normal, especially in this stage of pregnancy. It is your body stretching to make room for the baby! The headache has nothing to do with it though. Good Luck and enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it is your body responding to your condition. As for the headache, it is probably do to the worry and stress of wondering what the pain is caused from. Of course you should call your doctor's office and describe the symptom's and ask if you should come in for an appointment to have the doctor examine you.

Its a little early for kicks I think, the fetus doesnt even have fully formed legs. Stretching doesnt just happen like that, its slow and I think maybe its pregnancy side effects. Im a little unsure of the kicking so you might want to see your doctor/ health care provider and get another check up to see how youre doing. If youre ever unsure about whats going on with your pregnancy, always contact your doctor. Also, check out some books to help you along your pregnancy so you wont be nervous about whats going to happen during each trimester and how the baby forms.

I think it may be a bit too early for you to feek kicking and the pain could be nothing or it could be something. The best thing to do is pick up the phone right now and call your OB-GYN.
