This show used to air on Wednesday at 10 pm and featured Campbell Scott, Hope Davis and Bridget Moynehan. It started in the fall but hasn't aired in the last month. Any other information on the show is appreciated.

On November 8, 2006 Six Degrees was pulled off the schedule by ABC with ailing ratings. It is scheduled to return with new episodes and a new timeslot in January 2007.

Due to bad ratings, the show was shelved by ABC. The network claims the show will return mid-season (sometime between January to end of April). During the hiatus, the show producers and creators were asked to rework the show to have it focus on less people.
My personal opinion is that SIX DEGREES will not be back and that ABC will air the remaining episodes online. There is very little hope for a 2nd season.

There is only one reason any TV show is actually "cancelled" by a network. That reason is ratings. TV networks, even cable ones, make their money by selling advertising spots. They can sell more advertising for a higher price if they have the largest viewership for a given time slot. Unfortunately, ratings are based on sample data rather than the whole population. Thus, occasionally a very popular show will be cancelled because the sample audience didn't watch it. If you haven't done a Nielson TV diary before, they have you write down what you watch during each time slot and what, if anything, you record to watch later. Obviously, live viewing is rated higher than later viewing because you can fast forward the commercials.

no longer cancelled. Season 4 premieres on Sept 19, 2011. Penny Johnson Jerald (admired individual Trek DSN, 24) joins the solid because the hot captain. She's no longer too prepared on the fortress-Beckett relationship. should be exciting.
