I don't know what it is, but I never feel like my eyelashes are "groomed" or "polished." I curl them, and they may seem to look "combed" or whatever, but then within a couple of hours they seem all in disarray, pointing in all directions! And drooping from the curl. In fact, sometimes the curling process itself seems to do this! lol.

I use a Shiseido curler (I tried Shu Uemura and didn't like it) and I am very careful. I've tried cleaer mascara (both Covergirl and E.L.F. brands). Am I doing something wrong? Do you know any special tricks?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Stick with the eyelash curler. There are different ways to use it. Some recommend that you start at the base of your eyelashes, and repeat 2 or 3 times while moving up to the tips of your lashes. Also, you may want to try heating your eyelash curler with your hairdryer for a few seconds before use. That seems to help "set" your lashes. Lastly, I would recommend using a full color mascara. I've never had any luck with clear mascaras. If you're worried about smudging, then use a waterproof mascara. You can buy inexpensive eyemakeup remover (Cover Girl makes some) to help you take it off at night. I love Almay lengthening mascara. I use it right after I curl my eyelashes, and I think they look great! Good luck.

Please do not put hairspray on your eyelashes as another poster suggested (you don't want to accidentally get it in your eyes). After using an eyelash curler, try a lash-curling mascara, such as the ones by Clinique, Lancome (Flextencils or Amplicils), or Chanel. There are several drugstore brands as well.

I used to use a trick: after applying mascara, take the blow dryer and blow dry your eyelashes for a few seconds. Use low heat and low air setting, and make sure to close your eyes. This will help lift and keep in place. Good luck!

Black mascara! basically be conscious once you've a evidently light complexion and mild eyelashes it ought to face out truly plenty and seem somewhat unatural before everything. in case you experience that is too darkish bypass with a Brown or Brown-black mascara and that's going to likely be extra diffused. yet frequently Black is the most fantastic and efficient one to apply to make your eyes extremely 'pop'.
