My family get together is Dec 23 at 4pm. YES... They always aire thair Grivences with eachother on this day. Im the 9th child, so there are 9 kids, and then 27 grand kids ranging in ages from 1-27 yrs old. Hardly any of us get along, and also add in there the spouses and friends of the family. We always get together at my brothers house, and there are around 65-85 people there. Each couple brings 1 dish. And there is a FIGHT at every single event. We stay for food, present exchange, and then take off.... Ive been to these things where I've stayed too long and its NEVER good. I just PRAY that we will all get along, but it rarely happens.

Ha! Thought about it, but probably not--that's probably not going to lead anywhere good. OTOH, I'm down for wresting the head of household to the ground (as it's just me and my husband--not sure who qualifies as the head, but the wrestling sounds like fun).

Happy Festivus!

lol. My husband's a police officer, and he tells me that they get MORE calls on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving because families get together, and then all sorts of domestics happen. Sad, but true.

When they start talking it is time for me to get some fresh air...I mean if they start talking at all. I am grateful they will be here because then my Dad can pontificate. I have already heard it before...
