I know that the baby is dead...it's obvious...why won't the doctor do anything?

HCG drops after the first 12 weeks as the placenta develops. And you don't always get a heartbeat that early, depending on the type of u/s they do, it may be that it doesn't pick it up until the 12= week.

Its hard to detect a heartbeat before 14 weeks- so you could be panicing for no reason. Just try and be patient because worrying will not do you or the baby any good. Have they mentioned anything to you about them thinking the baby has passed away??

OK not to WORRY!!!! Your HcG levels are suppost to go down after 12 weeks AND your chances for miscarriage is very slim now that your twelve weeks take it from me im 7 weeks and i miscarried the first pregnancy. YOU"LL be okay!! Good luck

If you're not happy with how your doctor is handling your care then you need to get a little more demanding with your doctor or switch to a new one. You're paying your doctor for treatment, you should be allowed it. I can't tell you what's happening with your pregnancy, but I can tell you that if you feel something's wrong, you have every right to be seen by the doctor and given the facts of your pregnancy status, good or bad.

NOT TO BE THE BEARER OF BAD NEW BUT IF YOU HCG LEVELS ARE GOING DOWN THAT IS NOT A GOOD SIGN AND MORE THAN LIKLEY THEY WANT TO BE SURE THAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY MISCARRING BEFORE THEY DO ANYTHING. I KNOW IT MUST BE AGONIZING BUT HANG IN THERE. WAS THAT YOUR FIRST U/S?? IF YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE 12 WEEKS HAVE YOU NOT SEEN A DOCTOR SOONER?
