I have a beautiful strapless red silk dress to wear for New Year's Eve this year, but I am not sure what kind of stockings or panty hose or tights to where with it. I have strappy black heels that I was planning on wearing, unless someone has a better suggestion for shoes too. Thanks.

Pantyhose are better. Black or nude colour probably. Try some like these:

For a new year's party...black fishnets with the red dres would be perfect.
