No. The buyer doesn't own it yet. If the seller gives the selling broker the OK to allow this then all three are really dumb. Seller, seller's agent and the buyer. DON"T do it!

It is not the broker's decision. This is something to be decided upon, in writing, between the buyer and seller. However, the broker representing the buyer would be foolish if they did not try to talk the buyer out of doing this. If the deal doesn't go thru, the buyer will be out whatever money spent on renovations.

I don,t know but if I were you i would wait until i closed on a home purchase before putting any money into a home,too many things could possibly go wrong and you could lose your money.Many times sellers have changed their minds about selling at the last minute,and they are under no obligation to the buyer whatsoever if they decide to do that.If you put money into the home before closing tthey would not have torepay you for the improvements.please don,t put the cart before the horse until you have that paper the sellers ahve signed in your hand.....

No, in fact the broker would loose his license for doing something like that. The property belongs to the seller until ecsrow has closed.
