you can try giving your mom a gift certificate to go to a massage at some place--it is not too expencive, maby under $100. that is what i would get my parents if i had the money, if your mom works as hard as my parents do than she must need a break. If you dont have the money to give her that then just give her something little but with a lot of meaning. Eventhough you give her something little and eventhough it might not be what she wanted you can always give her a card that tells her how much you appriciate her. Another idea might also be to take her out for diner-of course your treat! I really hopes this helps, im still debating on what to get my parents too. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

A memory box. Take a bunch of photos of your family as you were growing up and copy them. Cut them out and make a collage by decoupaging them in the memory box and put any little keepsakes or things that will remind her of something in her past, in there too. Mom's love sentimental stuff like that.

You are so very lucky that your mother is living and you are concerned what to give her. I think the happiest my mother was, was when I crocheted her an afghan. It is a little late to start one now, but something you would make will always touch a mom's heart.

What about a gift certificate for her favorite hair salon or for a pedicure,& manicure & then if you can go with her & then have lunch. A day out with her daughter would just be icing on the cake. However old she might a gift like this would be appreciated.

A mom book.. Its a book they fill out from when they were kids to know and about there grandkids. My mom was SOO thrilled when I got her one she said it brought back great memories when she filled it out . She has it put away so she can pass it on down. I also gave one to my sister and she loved it as well. Its a very thoughtful gift..

Your love. Or if you don't want to sound cheap. Get her a perfume she will like.
