The mirror will have good luck. However, the rabbit's foot will have to placed under a ladder on Friday the 13th. If this is not done then the broken mirror will create a small ripple in the space-time continuum leading to the ultimate destruction of the Universe! So please be careful.

my first thought is "wow is that rabbit screwed".
Second thought was- "Wait, that rabbit was already screwed, hopping around with three legs...."
So in the end, I think it is a self fulfilling prophecy.
Taking a foot from a rabbit can't be lucky for anyone involved, so the mirror was just setting things straight.
