Because you are needed. You could make the world a better place by caring and helping others and thereby helping yourself.
Every person in this world is needed and important and I wish that you live a very long and very happy life.

You should stay alive until you're sick of living. Then it's time to get out of everyone's way. Problem is, even if you feel sick of living at this moment, you may feel differently an hour from now, or tomorrow. So I guess you might as well stay alive until your body decides to quit.

There is not set amount of time that you are supposed to be "alive" for......you could go into if you are even really alive or not....or if you can even stop being alive. As the common usage of alive goes though there's no set amount and if there were who would set it?
