Wireless adapter card module is WG511UAR. Laptop module is Dell Inspirion B130. The adapter won't fit in the laptop .

the inspirions b130 does not have an external place for an adapter. When you boght tha laptop it should have an internal one buiilt in.

You don't HAVE to, but in my humble opinion, you should just buy all of them at the same time (router and wireless card). Go with Linksys for both. You could get a card and hope to pick up a signal. But with a wireless router and no card, the laptop will need a direct connection (wired) or there will not be an internet connection for the laptop.
