Not really too excited. Yeah i want to see my family on Christmas but i don't want to see my boyfriends family. They do nothing but fight. They ruined Thanksgiving and i'm just anticipating a ruined Christmas. My family doesn't do presents either so thats another thing i'm not looking forward to. I haven't found my Christmas spirit. The only good part is i get 2 straight days off. It should have been 3 but their making me work saturday.

I'm not as excited. I used to get all worked up n all for Christmas but last year, like a week before Christmas my Grandmother died. It was really shocking. ever since then me and my family hav stopped expecting too much and getting too excited before Christmas.

Im such an ***, here you are telling us how excited you are and Im telling you my sad life story...Sorry

First to Lynn, I am soo sorry your gram died so close to Christmas. No, your are not being an "anything" but human.
Mine died a few years ago in the 16th, the funeral on the 20th, and we moved into a new house just before Christmas. I believe whole heartedly that your grandmother would want for you and your family what mine did--that was to cry, remember, and celebrate in her memory. Then the Christmas after my mum died, just before eating my brother carried out a big candle and as he lit it, his wife said, Let this be our way of remembering mum. (Near tears).
If you can, bring your memories of your gram with you into Christmas, it really helps.
Now to the question:
Yes, I am more pumped and happy, completely excited than I can describe. We are having as huge and festive occasion as we can. Old memories, as mentioned, ever present, and building new memories.
Thanks for asking...

I am SO excited!!!! I can't wait to spend Christmas with family. My 22 year old brother just had a heart transplant in October, so we have a lot celebrating to do. And lots of things to be grateful for. We will also be thinking, about the family who will be missing their love one this year.
