It never ceases to amaze me how many people will answer a question that has already been answered 3,4,5 times already.
They give the SAME answer. Do you bother to read the other answers BEFORE you post your answer? If not, WHY not?

It could just be that they want to reaffirm somebody else's statement/answer. Which answer are you more likely to believe- the one that was stated once in very poor English, or the one that was nicely stated by 5 people?
Other reasons could include that they are too lazy to read over the other answers, or that they just want the points.

Yes because I don't want to waste the amount of questions I can answer a day. I generally answer questions with a personal opinion of something, not with one definitive answer. Plus, it's more exciting that way.

there are some answers which at times may be better than others but a confirmation may let the asker know the stated answer is correct
