she is not a good friend then. i think you should stop being her friend. friends like that make you have a miserable life with low hopes and lost dreams. you will not succeed in life or pursue your dreams if you keep up with her.

Number one, your BFF is a serious parasite if she is allowing you to do all of her work. No friend, however special, can go through life having someone else fight all their battles, do all their homework, or take all of their tests.
People take the 'friendship' ideals they see on TV or in movies and apply it to real life. It's not only unrealistic but dangerous. A friendship is both ways, and it cannot survive if one of the friends is taking advantage of the other, as it appears your friend is doing.
If you care about yourself (and your friend), you will not provide her a crutch (you) in getting homework or other assignments done. She has to take the step to go to school and attend class.
If there are other issues (and there must be because most states have truancy laws that would have your friend's parents in trouble with the law if she continues to be absent from school), ask your school's guidance counselor for help. This isn't the kind of thing that you can 'fix' by yourself, and let's face it...you may not be able to 'save' your friend from this event in her life.
Failing may be the best thing for your friend to face: It's real, it's not undoable, it requires a direct choice on her part, and it cannot be concealed from her parents/friends/family.
No matter what she says: SHE IS MAKING THESE CHOICES AND DECISIONS. You cannot protect or prevent her from making bad ones, you can only give your opinon and let her make her own decisions.

Try not doing her work bit by bit. For a day or eventually longer, see her reactions and start up serious talk on what on. Tell her that she's got to do her work or she'll be out. Only true friends tell you the hard facts. If your communication don't pass this sort of test then you have not much to lose. Almost everything about communication.

I wished I had a friend same like you back then. But this way, youre teaching her to fail more in life, hon. After graduation, you wont be there to support her anymore. Shell be looking for a real job in the real world and you might have taughrt her to be dependent all the time on someone. Let her fail and teach her a lesson. Friendship has limitations.

You doing her work for her is teaching her that she can drag her way through life praying on the pitty of others. Let her fail, this is the only way for her to learn that she must buck up and take responsibility for her own life. I hope she is hot cause if not when she gets into the real world she is in for a rude awakening. But if she is hot she will get a free pass in life. I know it sounds mean but it's true.

She is failing because she has chosen to fail. You on the other hand are a fool for doing her assignments for her instead of enjoying your free time doing something else. Let her fail if she wants to. If you have given her some advice already and she has not improved or changed, then let her be. You just keep on with your education, and let whoever wants to fail, fail.

You seems like a very nice young lady. You actually making a big mistakes by helping her. Either way she is failing. Don't waste your time doing her work, use that time to learn other things for yourself. One day she will be your housekeeper while you are big professor at state university.

My best friend failed out of school too. I was crushed because he is like a super genius. Your friend has to learn to take responsibility for herself. You can't show up at her job in the future and do her work for her. It hurts but you have to let her fail. Email me if you ever want to talk.

i know how you feel. one of my bffs r having me either "help" (meaning giving her all the answers) or just do it for her. if she can't do her work than she can fail. try telling her why she doesn't do anything and have her write those term papers. it's time to take a break!

Quit enabling her by doing her work. She is old enough to know what she is doing and apparently she doesnt care if she is screwing up. You are growing up and hopefully moving on to bigger and better things. Time for you to find some friends who are responsible and smart as you are.
