Yes! If JESUS was not born we would still be waiting for a Messiah to come. Life would be so different for all of us.

I don't think so. I think that it is an important day, but not the most important. People (like myself) are starting to draw back from Christmas, it's not the same anymore, all people care about now around the Christmas holidays is getting the biggest gifts, and getting wasted, it's not about that, it's about spending time with your family, no matter what you get for Christmas, people are becoming a lot more materialistic rather than being happy that their family is and CAN be there, some people don't have that option and would love to be given that.

Well, this is one of those totally subjective questions, where the answer is going to be based entirely on that one person's feelings. Some people will say yes, some will say no (and they may say no for a zillion different reasons) so, you see, all you end up with is a lot of individual opinions, and probably no two will be exactly the same. LOL
Oh, me? Well, I don't have any day in the year that's more important than any other. If I wake up in the morning and can swing my legs over the side of the bed and hit the ground runnin' then it's going to be a great day.

Today is the most important day of anytime. There could be no Christmas if there was not Today, There could have never been a Christmas if there was no Today. Today is therefore the most important day of any time or year.

For the retail sector in primarily Christian countries it is certainly the most important season of the year.
