Ive heard that the New Nintendo Wii is good but i don't know from experience.
I also have the PS2 with Eye Toy and don't think that it is all that great.

hi, i'd in my opinion get a wii. I have both eye toy and and a wii. the interest toy is agreeable for a lengthy time period yet ebentually receives previous and basically sits gathering dirt. in the interim the wii, is awsome, pending the way you experience, you may play for a short recreation recreation or bypass on an experience with zelda, the wii is extra versatile and under no circumstances receives previous that's basically between the funnest issues I have ever are available in the course of the cost is definatly well worth it

The eye toy...
Doesnt work with all ps2 games (very few actually)
Has a much limited range (just a small circle instead of a large rectangle sensor like the wii)
is nice cause you actualy see your face on the screen.
Costs less.
Wii
Every game uses the wiimote
Much broader sensor
generally, stabbing someone with the wiimote is better than pretending to swing a baseball bat... isnt it?
so its more.. more.. intuitive

Go with the Wii.. but im sure its gonna be hard to get one.. i have never played the wii, never, however i saw someone else playing the wii at a gamestop.. he looked like he was having fun.. And i have played with the eye toy at best buy.. i cant say that i didnt have fun.. but it looked to me that only a few MINI GAMEs used the eye toy.

The wiis motion sensing cause the eye toy is not 100% accurate.And also the wiis motion sensing(Like the DS touch screen)is next gen technology.Therefore making it more advanced.

Ooooh i would say the Nintendo Wii is better, because it is a whole new concept in gaming, the physical interaction with the game is excellent, and it is good for working those arms and legs lol!!
It looks incredibly fun too, plus it is difficult to get hold of a Nintendo Wii, most are sold out already, its mad!!
Even though Sony were always one step ahead with graphics and a wider choice of games, Nintendo were always the underdogs, now they have developed an ever better gaming experience, and that is why they stand out hands down compared to Sony!
I wouldn`t mind it myself for Christmas...

probably Nintendo Wii as it is newer, but i think the graphics on the Wii games are crap!

Probably the wii... the ps2 eye toys been out at least 4 years now... but wait till the ps3 comes out!!! itll knock socks of the rest !!!
