Unfortunately it is in human nature, in all nature as a matter of fact, to judge others. It goes back to basic reproductive instincts, animals choose a mate based on physical attributes and their mating rituals, without getting to know them first. Same thing with humans, if you see someone covered in filth, and looking a little thin, you may assume they are homeless, but they may just be an actor on their way to a gig with no time to change.
I totally agree with you, however, humans are able to manupulate situations, make informed decisions, and therefore should not jump to comclusions about others. I try not to judge people without first getting to know them, however, I do know that my subconsious does so. Mental signals go off in my brain signalling me to be cautious or act in a certain way, but I have a choice and I choose to be myself and treat others the way they should be treated- fairly. After I get to know them, determines how I will treat them later on- as friend or foe.

A lot of times first impressions are everything, and other situations you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. People says that judging isn't good, but I think that how you judge is important. For example, there where some girls in my neighborhood that were kind of ruff around the area. My mother wouldn't allow me to play with those kids, because she knew that they were a bad influence on me. In my opinion she made a wonderful judgment call for the safety of her child. Some people now go off board and judge people by race, gender, and sexual orientation in a very malicious manor. I think there should be a balance in life and that includes judging. I mean you have real passive people who trust everything someone says and usually gets hurt in the end and then you have the extremest that turn into hate activities. People should have a balance, and show consideration with their judgment. I hope this makes sense. However for the person who is feeling the judging, I suggest that you take with a grain of salt and realize that one more thing out of life you have to overcome.

Everyone judges. It's the first thing that we humans do in our minds the minute we come to know someone. But we shouldn't be verbally judging people because 1, it's rude and 2, most of the time our first-second judgement is wrong anyway.

People that judge other people like that have their own insecurities! They don't live in the real world and there is no logical reason to even waste your time worrying about how ignorant they are!!!So enjoy your holiday season and let whoever judge you however they want-a person always knows who their true friends are!!! Lots of people misjudge me because I'm blonde-but I have an IQ of 180!

When you appear to be a member of a "stereotype", you will automatically be labeled as part of that stereotype. If you truly are not part of the group you appear to belong to, then you are guilty of giving misleading clues as to who you really are. Your personal presentation is important to others, because they may not have time to get to know the real you.

Honey, that just mean they are human. Its a instinctive reaction. What do you think falling in love at first sight is? You see some one, you fall in love. Its simple as that. Its just the same for other things, if someone says something that you don't you automatically create a negative effect about him. Its just normal. Deal with it.
