can you add flour to make those cinnamon-applesauce christmas ornaments?

i dont want to spend a bunch of money on a huge thing of cinnamon, anyone know of some kind of "filler" i can use to save some cash? i have about a half cup of cinnamon already. Thanks guys, have a merry christmas!
