Is it just as difficult to get a tourist visa for the USVI as it is for the mainland US? My fiance is from El Salvador and we want to go to USVI on our honeymoon but I'm wondering if it's worth trying to get the visa. Or would that visa be the same visa you would use to go to the US and therefore he probably wouldn't get it? Can you get a visa specifically for the USVI or Puerto Rico?

the US Virgin Islands is the United States Virgin Islands, so a visa for the USA is what you need......no seperate visa for the VI or Puerto RIco as we are not a seperate country
