Hi all,
I have a wireless laptop and a desktop computer, i am trying to set up a wireless network so i can use the internet from my laptop, do i need a seperate security centre for my laptop or does my current one on my desktop wirelessly connect to my laptop?

IF your router/switch has built-in security, that is all you HAVE to have.

If it does NOT, then you need to install security on EACH computer.

Myself, I use DIFFERENT scanners on my inernet "access" machine, and the other machines on my LAN. (Better chance of catching everything that might try to sneak in with 2 different scanners!)
NOTE: You should only run 1 scanner (of the same type, such as virus) per machine to avoid conflicts

If you set up your router properly, then you can secure the router including the computers that connect to it.

just enable the wireless security and the WPA/WPE key and u all set. let me know if u need more help
