How about something for the cottage like a game people can play while they are there.
cribbage board,
special edition of monopoly
Wise and Otherwise
Mille Borne
or
Fishing stuff like vest or something interesting or a tackle box with a little plaque on it that says something like for my favorite fishing buddy ....
or
a gift card to someplace like Gander Mountain
or
something interesting to take to the lake like get a homemade jerky kit ... has spice mixes and a jerky press (like a spritz cookie maker) so you just need ground meat (very lean) and a low temp oven or a dehydrator.
If he really likes that then maybe next year get a dehydrator (it works better than the oven).... or more spices or a hand grinder.
My boys go ape for homemade jerky after they get their yearly deer....
best,
cez

Wow, lucky you! What a fab brother! You could buy him his own star within your budget and it would be named after him - cool, I think! Or find a special photo of the two of you and have it put on to canvas for him to hang on his wall. You could write him a letter or poem telling him how much you love and appreciate him and then place it in a lovely photo frame - which you could also have engraved (or a small plaque put on it if it's wood). Just listen to your heart and you'll find just the right thing!

Fishing gear maybe? Or a good board game he and his kids could all enjoy? I personally recommend Settlers of Catan, it looks awful but it is highly addicting.

What sports team does he like? Maybe you can buy him something that relates to the sports team. [Ex: a mug, gift basket, football, etc.]
Happy Holidays. ^_^
