I just started on Alesse birth control in the beginning of December and should get my period next week. I was wondering usually how long it takes until after I take my last active pill for my period to come and how long my period would be. So, for my question is for anyone who is on birth control, not just alesse. How long for you does it take to get your period after the last active pill and how long is your period?
Thanks!

I usually get my period on the third day of inactive(sugar/iron pills) and it's over by the time I take my first active pill of the new pack.

I get mine the day after my last active pill, but I have more active pills than some. If your active pills end after your 3rd week, it'll probably be 3 or 4 days until you start. It lasts 4 to 5 days usually, but everyone is different. If you haven't started more than a week after your last active pill, go get a pregnancy test.

I get mine on the second day of the sugar pills. It's gone by the time I take the first active one.
