I want to know which city has lost the biggest percentage of population. I don't want little towns of 1,000 people that used to be 5,000 people, i want to know which large city has lost the most people percentage wise. I think it may be Detroit, but other cities like Cleveland have also lost a lot. Help!

I think it might St.Pierre in Martinique. 20.000 people died of a volcanic eruption, the whole population was wiped out except for 1 person who was a prisoner in the jail deep under ground at the time of the eruption.

I don't know for sure, but I would probably start looking at places that went from full polulation to zero instantaneously. The only one I can think of is Pompei
