My LMP says that I should be 27 weeks along. I've had several u/s one @ 7wks, 8.5wks,14wks, 16wks, and 20wks. The baby has never measured accurate to my LMP, but does match from the date of the last u/s. Is there any reason in my case to not trust the dr. About how far along I am. I'm currently 21 wks and from 22 to 27 is a pretty big jump. what do you think , oh yeah the baby was weighing in at 11 oz on my 20 wk u/s so I don't think he's a small baby

I trust my dr. And going by what i'm feeling and what my body is doing I feel like they are more correct than my LMP. I don't know

The ultrasound is going to be accurate. Women's bodies don't ovulate the way the "text book" says they do. With the ultrasound they can measure the baby and give you an accurate due date as well as how far along you are. Maybe you just ovulated late. Who knows what our bodies do, but trust the US. Good luck.

Some babies grow faster than others or are going to be larger babies. My daughter always measured about 2-3 weeks ahead of my conception date (which I knew was accurate).
Do you know for sure when you ovualted?? Just going by LMP is sometimes wrong because not everyone ovulates on the 14th day of their cycle (which is what they assume you did when they give a due date by LMP).

The doctors always know the "age" of your babe by the size they are measuring etc...i highly doubt that they could be off by more than a week either way...its pretty acurate especially with as many ultrasounds as you have had.
Some ppl just get bigger bellies or have bigger babies and start wishing they were further along so it would be closer to D-Day :)
Good luck to you and trust the docs they are the ones who went to school
