Yes dear.

5 years until they say it to their wives.

Apparently about 7 until they say it to every woman.

You eventually wear us down.

My hubby doesn't say in those words "Yes Dear" but if you mean ... tell him to do something. He always does when i tell him to.
When we were dating he was a mama's boy. And his mother did Everything for him! i hated it when we got married. He would even eat a candy and threw the wraper on the ground! Like who do you think is gonna put that in the trash?? After 4 months he was 'house broken'..lol I guess it depends how layed back the guy is. And if you're really serious about it. And if they don't listen refuses to do anything till they pick it up or whatever.
hope this helps.

Well, I've been married over 17 years, and he now does the "yes, dear" thing laughingly - usually when I'm apologizing for giving him a huge honey-do list! I must say I prefer "As you wish...", but that didn't last long. Honestly, he does everything I ask, without question, anyway. He's just a hon.

It really depends on the man...
My hubby is very stubborn... We have been together 7 years & he just now says YES DEAR.... But it is so worth it...
If you can stand a few years of putting up with a stubborn man.....Then you have the rest of yall's life together to "HEAR YES DEAR"

tarty loll huge sure! ... sure his character concerns the main, however the kin would be a area of your existence too. i could by no skill marry a guy if his kin have been bitchy or have very undesirable features/conduct. some issues i'm able to forget approximately approximately, yet others including jealousy and bitchiness; i won't be in a position to. i think of the adult males kin is quite important and tbh it is my only worry of marriage - the in rules. i'm gaining expertise of from my mom's journey and could truthfully only marry a guy if his kin is respectable. no longer only for me, yet my baby's sake, i does not desire them to be raised in a (such as you reported) tarty ecosystem lol.

do you want a husband or a train puppet.. that seems a bit demeaning to me you would not want to be that way with him.. yes sweetie or OK love sounds so much like he means it .. but yes dear sounds like he is forced to say it and don't mean it..if he don't mean it .. it and worth the words that are being said

How far into the marriage are you? And are you sure you want that response? If it's not something that comes naturally for your spouse, maybe it shouldn't be. Would you want him to be so unhappy and uncomfortable? I know you would like a little peace. But take it from me, it's best to take his feelings in to consideration and work as partners.

It might make a happier marriage for you if you were to take his feelings into account and learn to respect him.
You might wind up the envy of your friends if they are all getting divorced or are unhappy and they see that you are still married and enjoying it.

I've been married to my husband for a year now and he was saying it before we even got married because he learned it's easier to agree than argue. Sometimes it angers me though, because I know he doesn't mean it; he's just appeasing me.

I have been married for 6 months and our first child is on the way, facing off with a pregnant wife has automatically put me into full "yes dear" mode.
