I've been really sick for about 2 weeks. Nausea, food aversions, feeling like I'm starting my period, but nothing. I'm extremely tired all the time, my breasts are sensitive, I get heart burn frequently. A couple months ago.. I went through the same thing.. One day I could eat meat another I could only eat sweets. Same thing now. What scares me.. One day these symptoms stopped.. and I bled really hard for about a week, blood clots etc. then I miscarried. So... any ideas on whether or not I sound pregnant.. and how I can keep this pregnancy? I am planning on going to the doctor, but wanted to get some advice before hand. :) Thanks!

Hi there honey. It does sound to me like you probably did have a miscarriage that last time. The thing is, when you are this early in a pregnancy, if you are going to miscarry there is really nothing that can be done to stop it. If you were to actually develop a pattern with this happening more than once it should be evaluated by a doctor. There could be a reason that you are not maintaining the pregnancy. Hopefully it only happened that one time and it will not happen again. If you are pregnant there is no reason to think that this pregnancy will end the way that one did.
It does sound to me like you could very well be pregnant, you certainly have all the symptoms. You left out one very important peice of information tho. How late is your period? That is an important bit of knowledge. If you are 4 or 5 days late I think that you could very well do an at home prenancy test. If you are as much as two weeks late I would just call the doctor and make an appointment or see what they want you to do as far as a test goes. Some OB/GYNs will not accept an at home pregnancy test and will want you to come in and have one in their office or they will send you for a blood test. The blood test is as close to being 100% accurate as it is possible to be. For that reason some doctors prefer it.
Good luck honey and I really hope that you ARE pregnant as it sounds like that is what you want.
Love and Blessings

Don't stress about it and try not to lift anything heavy just in case. But ya you sound pregnant. If it has only been a couple of months since you miscarried, take it really easy and relax.
Good luck. I understand, I had a miscarrage also and that same thing happened to me.

If you are sure you miscarried the last time, this could be a repeat. However, I have many of those symptoms every time I have my period. You could be going through some changes in your periods. Go see your OB/GYN as soon as you can. Unfortunately, there isn't anything they can do to "keep you pregnant".

first off how old are you? sounds like pregnancy is a possibility but if you are trying to get pregnant and you have went through this twice in less than 6 months that is not good on your body. see a doctor asap bc i could be something other than pregnancy like cyst

well first get a pregnancy test and go from there.
Unfortunately there is no way to keep the pregnancy if your body is determined to get rid of it. yes, sure you can try to be stress free and/or relax and take things easy but the reality is there is no way to prevent a miscarriage if it is going to happen.
Good LUck

Take a home pregnancy test to find out if you are pregnant.
Take a daily PRENATAL vitamin to help prevent birth defects (and miscarriages). Also, to help prevent miscarriages, avoid ALL alcohol, nicotine (smoking and second-hand smoke, caffeine (in coffee, tea, iced tea, and cola drinks), and over-the-counter and prescription medications.
