My period was due yesterday, been feeling abit queezy, bloated, breasts achey and nipples sore, really tired and eating abit more than usual. I did a First Response early pregnancy test Mon 18th which showed a very faint line so repeated test last night. the line was slightly darker but still lighter than the line that shows the test was done correctly. I thought it may show up abit more if I did another one this morning but the line was about the same the same as last night. Im hoping Im pregnant but dont want to get too excited at this stage cos Ive read about chemical pregnancies.Do you think I am definately pregnant and do you think Im right to worry at this stage and not get too excited?Thank you all in advance for your answers.

first of all these symptoms your describing do not start happening right away so all of that is non sense if your period was only due yesterday. These symptoms dont start until like 3 months-maybe a tad bit sooner. But usually-id say 90% of the time even if there is the slightest line at all you are most likely pregnant. The only thing that can make the line appear at all would be the hormone in your urine from being pregnant.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Any line at all, no matter how light, is a positive. And there is no such thing as a false positive in a hpt. You probably conceived recently, which is why the line is light. The further along you are, the more Human Growth Hormone, and the line will be darker.
If you don't believe me, read through all of the information and fine print that came with the test - it says in there somewhere that even if the line is faint, it still indicates that you are pregnant.

well, all of those symptoms could just be related to your period, which may just be a little late. Sometimes it can be off by a couple of days. As far as the tests go, I'm not really sure about those, but saying you've been eating more than usual, that's probably not related to pregnancy because you don't start eating more until around the 3rd month or so.

Go to the Dr. and get a blood test done. Your symptoms could be those of pregnancy, but they also could be PMS symptoms. It is hard to say. Most pregnancy tests say that if there is a positive line, even a very faint one, then you are probably pregnant. I would just recommend getting your blood drawn. Then there is no question about it.

I'd rather see you get your answers from a doctor rather than strangers on the internet.
