Finish wrapping my presents.
Make (and then drink) Mulled Wine.
Curl up with my fiance and watch films.
And this year:
Put my baby's gifts under the tree

My family is of scandinavian and dutch/irish heiritage so we always celebrated Christmas eve. Mum had my aunts and uncles and cousins over. We'd have turkey and all the trimmings, open gifts and then go to 11 candlelight services at our lutheran church.
Most of my family is gone now, but I still make myself a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, I've usually already opened my gifts. I always watch it's a wonderful life then a Christmas Carol or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on pbs or Kings College choir on Vision, then at 11 pm watch the Chrystal Cathedral's Christmas Eve services. Usually around midnight I call my best friend in Winnipeg to wish her a merry christmas. And of course Christmas Eve day and all Christmas day I put on Christmas music just like my parents did.

Well for my family we don't really do anything on Christmas Day we usually celebrate on Christmas Eve. We always go to my cousins house, and we have lots of fun! We usually get there around 4:00pm, we bring the presents inside the house and the grown ups are in the living room and I talk to my older cousin. Around 8:00pm I help my aunt make the tamales. As it is we always have one rule no one is allowed to eat tamales or open presents til 12:00am Christmas Day! It is really fun and exiting!

I'll be down the 'Pennyweight' enjoying a few cocktails and a bit of decent craic. We go down every Christmas Eve and have done so for 10 years. There's fewer of us left as a lot have moved away or got kids etc. Just the hardcore these days.

We have a family gathering of immediate family, lone surviving grandmother, uncles, aunts, and if possible cousins. Instead of the usual turkey/ham dinner most families have, we have a varitable feast made up of finger foods, like hot wings, sweat socks, stuffed potato skins, chimichangas, taquitos, cocktail weenies, and the like. We spend the night eating, laughing, watching holiday specials, enjoying each other's company, and then come night's end, we open our CHristmas Eve present of a new set of flannel pajamas. lol
I think this year we're opting for a small congregation though. :P

Usually get very drunk, but this year is different, it is my sons first Christmas so I will be putting all the pressies under the tree ready for Christmas morning. I will also be cooking a turkey so that I can spend more time with him on the day!
Have a great Christmas!

My family and I meet at my mother's house for our traditional Chistmas Eve breakfast. We all go over and cook together. The children put on a fashion and talent show. I love it! We get fat full and open up gifts. What are you going to do?
