would there be any symptoms or signs that my egg actually got fertilized or already implanted? or is it yet another waiting game?

Yes its possible to get pregnant if you had sex that day. You have a 15% chance of getting pregnant if you have sex 3 days before you ovulate (only 25% if you have sex the day OF ovulation though).
And no, pregnancy would not show up on an ultrasound until your in your 5th week...and even then its just a fetal pole and sac. I had an ultrasound at 4 weeks and they showed nothing, the tech even had the nerve to tell me I wasnt pregnant...so there is no way a pregnancy would show up just after ovulation.

Yes, it is possible. If you ovulated on the 15th it would be at least 4-7 days before it would implant into the uterus. Most likely it would not show up on the 20th.

Yes. Sperm can stay alive for up to 3 days. No, a fetus is not likely to be detected by ultrasound 5 days after conception. In fact, you won't even get a positive pregnancy test that early in the pregnancy. It usually takes 3 weeks for the pregnancy hormone to show up.

Probably not. I would say that would be too soon for it to show up on the 20th, but best of luck to you.
