Not too long ago, we talked all the time and I thought she cared about me. Now we’re more like acquaintances. We talk once in awhile but it’s like we have nothing to say. I’ll talk to her about my daughter but she doesn’t seem all that interested in her. There are some things she does (i.e not keeping her word) that make me realize that she probably doesn’t think too highly of me.

She treats my former friend completely different. She speaks well of her and her son, goes to see them a lot and she even threw a baby shower for her when she was preg. I try to be nice and be there for her like she was for me but I’m really starting to resent her. She’s my only true friend by the way.

I have the same problem with my friend. Well first of all i think you should get more friends if she is your only true friend and second of all, there is nothing much you can do. You can't change for her or anything like that. Maybe she feels like you two are on totally diffirent pages right now. My best advide is to just do stuff with her more like u used to do. You can't do much else.

Try talking to her, tell her how you feel. maybe that will help. I lost a few best friends by not asking, and I can tell you now I miss them very much.

Doesn't sound like true friend material. People change or maybe you did something that she didn't like or she could be jealous. who knows, but ignore her and move on. that's what i did when i notice that i have to always do the calling. "F" her (wink)

She obviously is no longer your true friend. Maybe it is time to stop trying to talk with her and find yourself another friend.
