I have never been able to wear a watch they just stop!Battery or not they all stop??

All people give off an electrical charge. Some people have stronger electromagnetic field than others. These people will either cause watches to stop completely, or they will cause them to slow down/speed up. You may be one of these people.
Try getting a pocket watch instead. Since it doesn't touch your skin (the way a wristwatch does), the effect will be diminshed. And a nice pocket watch on a chain just looks really cool. :)

I agree with the first post...All my female relatives have the same problem! Sister now uses a cell phone and skips the watch, and aunt has a leather band so the back of the watch doesn't touch the skin.

I had this problem too. I solved the problem with a wind up watch which I used till my daughter accidentally smashed it. I got it through Vermont Country Store. (Now that I think of it, I sure miss that watch....)

Buy an omega and you'll never wear a different watch, they're pricy, the new bond I have on right now (my 3rd omega) costs about $4,000.

May be an electrical charge in your body. I have to paint the backs of my watches with clear nail polish to buffer! Hope that helps.

It must be that your body possesses the magic of eternal youth. You stop the time. The watch can't work when placed close to you :-)

I have an aunt who has that problem. They only brand she can wear is Timex.
