I know nothing about the game but my son plays it A LOT. I'd like to know if there's anything harmful about it that I should be aware of. Serious answers to this only, as I'm ignorant to the whole Runescape thing.

Yes. even younger kids could play. You should give him a time limit because it could effect his grades in school. Playing too much of computer games or any game is not that healthy. But yes its a great game, and he will get bored of it some time. But in runescape some people get gf (girlfreinds) and i have seen lots of people say innipropriate things on it. So watch him, But that happens rarly, from my point.

Well, I would have to say that... Yeah! It's OK. Everyone knows that Rune Scape is for kids 13 and up. But he's 12. 1 more year. But any kids younger than 10 probably shouldn't play. Still it's your decision. I mean U R his FATHER you tell me.

Yes, it is okay for twelve-year-olds to play Runescape. It censors all offensive words typed by players, and there are no suggestive themes, blood, gore, etc. I once typed in every word I could think of that was even a little bit vulgar, just out of boredom, and it starred them all out (*****). I think I came up with about fifty different words, too.

ok it bleeps out the word PHONE so u know it shouldnt be bad at all but u have those ppl who find away around the rules and figure out how to break them like typing in @$$ for ***.so if that happens u can report abuse.and if ur son plays it alot how is he not able to tell u this stuff.

well u can look on the back of the case and u can go to the store or maybe they can tell u more about it or go look on the internet or a certain type of book. and maybe even a cheap price and have a good day Merry christmas and happy new year

its a good game,no pr0n or MDK's and such.its a good game,really.better than grand theft auto.
