Have you ever worked at Cedar Point Amusment Park?

Question

HI, I was wondering if anyone has worked at CP before. I had a few questions:
-How much $$ do they pay you? (what are the ranges)

can you work part/and full time?

-what if u get sick? how much is it for an doctor appointment if they have a clinic? Are the doctor's any good?

-Would I be "making money or just spending it on the neccessities"

-At the rate they pay will I have enough money a week for gas, car repairs (if my car breaks down), fun on my own time, dorm expenses, food ... ... Or do they pay u the bear minimum to just get by?

-What was your experience like? did u enjoy it? did u gain a lot of money? or did u not?

-What did u like least? What did u like the best?

-Is it worth working there? Or would I just be in a financial mess?and would it not really be worth it

Hey, yes I worked at CP for 4 summers (not in a row)..The last year i worked was 2000 and i think i made like 6.50 hr.. got a check every week... and my checks were close to the 250 range.. also u get bonuses at the end of the season.. yes u can work part time.. if u get sick they do have a CP clinic and also Sandusky has great hospitals.. yeah you would be makin money and meeting new friends.. you really dont need to spend money on anything except like clothes and other things that intrest you... yeah cuz u really dont need to drive nowhere excpet like 2.2 miles to work and like 4.3 miles to the mall... oh you will always have fun even at work.. dorms are cheap like no more than 20 a week and they take it outta your check...and food is not expensive u eat at the employee cafe and it like more than half off of regular park prices.. i loved my job at CP the best part was all the people (i am a people person) and I met a couple of famous people like Charles Barkley, Lenny Kravitz, etc.. Yes it is worth workin at CP and I think if you or anyone else have the opportunity to work at CP its worth every minute of it.. you will have fun and make money and meet lots of people...

ceder point has dorms there they are about 17.00- 32.00 a week to stay there, you can buy meals there for 2/5 dollars a meal which is nice i want to say when i stayed there i was in dorms an i paid 25.00 a week for dorms an i made like 6.25 an hr or so then i docked my housing i think i made like 100.00 a week an i lived fine off that an went to school

Cedar Point hiring is currently closed. The online application for the 2007 season will be available in January 2007.
