I spilled red wine on the carpet last night and my husband is pissed!!!! Its a brand new carpet. (new custom built house that is only a few monthes old) I didn't mean to spill it but I tripped over a toy of my daughters and stumbled. I didn't fall but I spilled a glass of wine on the carpet. My husband said this morning that if the stain isn't gone when he comes home from work tonight that he's going to spank me with his belt till my fanny matches the color of the carpet (red stain on carpet.) I've tried and tried but I can't get the stain out!!! My husband doesn't spank often but when he does it HURTS!!!!

If this is for real, you need to seek some help. Spanking is a highly inappropriate form of punishment between adults. (I'll leave my feelings about spanking children out of it.) If it's something you do for sexual pleasure, that's a totally different story.
As far as how to get red wine out of carpet, it depends on the color of the carpet. If it's pure white, go grab a Clorox Bleach pen - they removed an old blood stain from a nose bleed in my pillowcase. If it's a different color - try Oxy Clean.
I've read one of your other questions too - please think about your daughter and the role model you are being for her. Do you really want your daughter to grow up and think this is acceptable? You can divorce and file for child support and raise her alone much better than you could raise her in this environment. Put your greed aside and think of this new, precious life you have brought into the world. No girl needs to be raised to think that women are solely to cook, clean, raise the kids and have sex - in a way that makes them a slave to men. You could go back to school, get a degree and get a job so you can make your own money. You do understand what you're basically doing if you're his virtual slave in return for spending all of his money, right? Your daughter doesn't need you to drive a high end SUV and to go shopping all day. She needs love, emotional stability (which she is far from getting right now) and food on the table - and it doesn't have to be foie gras and caviar.

First, don't EVER let anyone abuse you like it sounds like this jerk is doing. He can only do it ifr you stay and let him do this to you.
Second, you and everyone else won't believe this, but what works for me for carpet stains is (don't laugh) Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner. You won't believe how well it works! You spray it on the stain really thick, let it set awhile (like 2-5 minutes), scrub it, then vacuum. If you still see some stain after scrubbing, do the cleaner and scrubbing part over again until you don't see a stain, then vacuum. I also use Cloriox Clean-Up kitchen cleaner when the stain is new and hasn't had a chance to soak in yet, that is if the carpet isn't anything besides white or light tan.
Get some professional help with the abuse part. Grow up and don't take the crap.

Frankly, he doesn't have the right to do that to you. Nobody does. If you think he's serious, you could simply invite a friend or family member over tonight for support, or leave the house and sleep over with a friend.
You definitely want to seek counseling as well - this isn't the way a husband should be treating his wife.
Finally, you should ask in Yahoo Answers in a forum about cleaning and laundry to see if anybody knows how to get red wine out of carpet. I don't know much about that - possibly try pouring boiling water on it from a distance?
Good luck.

Dampen the area with a spray bottle of water.... then pour regular household salt over the area and let sit until the salt takes on the color of the wine. Then vacum. You will have to repeat this as the stain works it way back up to the surface. but eventually you will get the entire stain out. If your husband hits you for things like this, you might want to contact a divorce attorney.

What are you serious? He really spanks you like a child. Your husband sounds like a controlling jerk...I'm pretty sure a wine stain is not the end of the world. He's never tripped on your daughters toys. Kick him to the curb...what a jerk

The carpet is not going to come clean. Best advice is to meet your husband at the door naked and hand him a belt. Tell him how sorry you are but you can't help it, and take what you have coming to you.
