That's fair deal and an honest person. I agree with the others, you should stick with him. It's actually not a bad job on some of these fwd cars because there is easy access through the wheel well. The Labor is about 1.1(3.1 - 1.5 for 3.4) hours for your car, new pump is about $35 + 1 Gallon Anti-freeze. I just did a water pump on my sister's 2000 Caravan and it took less than an hour (actual Labor time is .9) & the Bosch pump was $35.

Absolutely. For what has to be removed to get to the water pump, it can be a real pain in the butt.
You got a heck of a deal.!!

Look closely at what should be a bright NEW pump. I don't know the reason for changing it and don't want to bad mouth your mechanic but check it out.

yes you did he charged you a fair price for that job,,you have a good mechanic,this is about what i charge for this ,i own a repair shop and that was a real good deal, for parts and labor,,stick with that mechanic,good luck hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.
