Did you get him/her a new red blanket recently, or has the dog been getting into something that would rub off on his fur?

Other animals change colors because of nutrition and stress, but I've never heard of mammals fur changing to a color other than white or gray...they normally will lose their fur under stress as opposed to a change.

Where is the hair changing color? Some times, if the dogs licks a place alot, The hair willl turn a pinkish brown color. Don't know why, but that is what the vet told me about my dog.

I would have to think something in the diet, like with pink flamingoes, but can't imagine what! Is it a NICE color? Maybe you should check with a vet to make sure it is not a sign of some health problem, though.
