Jimi Hendrix did do a song called "Cocaine"....so did ZZ Top and The Rolling Stones did a song called "Cocaine Eyes"...I know, because I have them all.
However, Hendrix's song was never released....the only way I found it was by downloading it.

Yeah that wasn't Jimi's song but it was however one of Jimi's favorite covers to do.Jack Bruce said Jimi inspired him to create that famous riff.Interestingly enough Jimi incorporated that song in most of his concert set lists. Go to Youtube and search 'Jimi Hendrix Sunshine Of Your Love'.I'm sure you'll find a lot.

JJ Cale wrote "Cocaine." Yes, Eric Clapton has the most popular version. Jimi's version (if it truly exists) was never formally released. Frankly, I'm not convinced yet that he ever played it, but I'm willing to be wrong on this.
There are versions of Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love" circulating on the internet that are labeled "Jimi Hendrix - Cocaine." I've linked it below.
It is no small irony that Eric Clapton was in Cream. Also, it is somewhat shameful that Melli believes that this is Hendrix. Perhaps she did not actually listen to the mp3 she linked.
UPDATE: Hendrix died in 1970. JJ Cale released "Cocaine" on the album "Troubadour" in 1976. Hendrix could not possibly have covered this song.

He did a version of this song. I dont believe it appeared on an album or CD.

That's Eric Clapton. You can find it on his newest greatest hits "timepieces" There are some great songs on there.
Also check out his album "The Blues" It rocks as well.
Jimi is dead. Eric Clapton is still alive and kickin.
