Who to pay rights to for making custom karaoke Cd's?

I have hundreds of Cdg's and would like to make custom karaoke Cd's, for customers, legally. Any Idea's as to who I would pay. If I rerecord then I just have to pay mechanical rights. I need to know who to pay if I just copy songs directly from the original discs for use in compilation discs.
