I just left the store and this lady was in front of me talking on her cell phone while putting her stuff on the counter. And she kept slowing and asking "what did you say" every other second. The line was long and it was like 200 degrees in the store. I wanted to beat her to death with my wrapping paper! The cashier finally asked her to finish her call or get out of line and she got an attitude! What would you have done?

I totally sympathise with the cashier I am one myself and it's not only annoying but really ignorant. I get customers who totally blank me because they are on thier phone do not thank me for helping to pack, in fact I dont pack if they on the phone or ask if they want cashback. I'm glad you asked this question..please to all who read have some manners and at leaset acknowledge us cashiers we are only human too and deserve a bit of curtisy.Next time beat em with your paper hun, hope the rest of your xmas shopping is not hampered by rude ignorant people.There I feel better for that.Merry Xmas.

Smacked her with the wrapping paper, maybe held a really loud conversation with the person behind you about how rude it is to talk on the phone while trying to check out. You could have asked her really loudly how her herpies were healing up, and that you were sorry she had such a bad outbreak last week. Jopefully she was on the phone with a boss or family member.

sure!! cuz they in no way pay interest. and its no longer in basic terms in the checkout line. its whilst there figuring out to purchase and then quit precise in direction of the aisle and its like heavily!!! WTF!
