I think you have been hurt and are generalizing. It would be like saying "All men are dogs".
You just haven't meant the right person yet. Be cautious but don't give up there is someone out there that is meant for you.

Guys and Gals have different physiology that work in opposite fashion not to ensure the personal gratification of either gender but rather to ensure procreation. It is with this goal in mind desire producing hormones are triggered visually in males (testosterone)knocking guys off their feet at first sight of an attractive mate. Gals on the other hand are cereberally aroused no matter how gorgeous the guy may be. She evaluates the guys capacity as a provider before deciding to open up further. Hence gals worry about looks instinctually in order to attract males who are visual puppies. Once the victim (like you) is hooked the process of evaluation begins and the best provider given the Green Signal, provided there are no serious drawbacks in other departments,
(eg. genetic disorder, alimony, disfigurement, disability etc.)
So hapless Romeo and eager Casanova hold your guns and make sure you will be the best provider before you even decide to raise your angular chin and peep into some curvy eyelashes. Nothing wrong with you or the gal you just need to know the rules of the game.
Once you have a fat wallet no matter how ugly you look rest assured that there will be many takers. Just make sure there is no body odor or bad breath. Personally I recommend using breath mints, Drakkar Noir a Platinum Credit Card, Arrow Shirts,

I Know this feeling all too well. Yet it does depend on how you felt about the person and how the other person felt about you that will give the feeling of hurt. I was dating someone for a year when I fell so deep in love with him, he pretty much told me that the whole time we dated he felt no love. It hurts when you trust someone and they cut you so deep. I think this is the type of hurt you are feeling. Now to answer your question, love is something that is so powerful and can be used as a weapon or it is so wonderful it is unexplainable. You take a risk of getting hurt when you try it out but, if you do not get out there and look and YES sometimes it takes getting dumped and hurt, to find the person that loves you and will not hurt you and someone to be happy with! Good luck and remember, there is someone for everyone. Find it! Don't mope around and expect it to come to you.

lol no afence mate, but not all girls are heartless(although some do deserve a good slap around the face!), ive had quite a few mates who have said the same sorta thing about lads but i no (and so do you probaly) thats not true.
just wait a while, im sure you'll find the right girl sooner or later :)
