Jealous in what way? Didn't want you going out with others? Doesn't want you going out with guys? Is she/he in love with you? Is it a matter of them feeling inferior to you and they are jealous of your looks...popularity...intellect? I would not worry about what happens when the lease is up I would be concerned about what happens when the lease is in effect. Confront your roommate and clear up what you feel is happening. You're going to be together for awhile and you'll both need to adjust in some way while you do.

It would depend on how deep the jelousy was, if intense, i would avoid revealing too much about myself, especially the good events in my life. I would underplay my life until the lease was up. jealousy can create alot of conflict and resentment. I would not want to keep friendship with someone who was very jealous of me because i would not be able to be completly myself with that person, the resentment from the friend could result in them putting me down, the freindship isn't balanced if jealousy is an obvious issue.

No you should not be friends at all.Better not to have any friends than having such a friend!
I myself realised it after the big mess I got into after i moved in with a person whom I thought was my best friend. Now we are not even on talking terms.

I would ask her why she is jealous of you. It all depends on the answer she gives you. And if you are not comfortable asking her maybe you shouldn't continue to be friends.
