I am looking for a cheap microscope? does anybody have any ideas where to find one? Store wise not online please! Thanks and Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Target sells them for $35 or so . . . I think Walmart does as well. Other than that, try "learning" stores parent/teacher supply.

Fifty-five years ago, you could get a good plastic microscope for under $30, and it would do what you needed. Nowadays, they probably have one laden with so many bells and whistles that they're not even as good...and they'll sell them for $100. Look around, and avoid scopes with useless add-ons. 400x is overkill for what a novice would need. Good luck.

Discoverychannel.com. they have them pretty cheap. I got one that was put on overstock auctions from discovery channel for my son. He is only seven so I didn't want to spend a fortune in case he breaks it or something. But it works really really good. I spent $25 on it! Good luck!

you can look on the internet and they will give u different prices but if i was u i would get the cheapest one instead of going to the store the can ship it to u if u would like
