When I went to get my done I was dreading it the whole day. I was soooo scared that it was going to be the worst pain I've ever felt. The whole day I kept pinching the skin above my belly button to prepare myself for the pain. And you know what? It wasn't even half as bad as I was imagining. It was over within a second and after there was no pain. It's more pressure than pain that you feel. Don't be nervous, it's not as bad as everyone says. Good luck!

It did hurt when I got mines pierced. The person who pierced it stuck it in too slow. I have heard others say theirs was fast and that helped. That pain will be over fast but then it will be sore for a little while afterwards, I walked out of the place with my pants unzipped! I would suggest you get it though, its very cute. Just make sure you keep it clean to avoid infections.

It'll be really quick, and it should barely hurt at all. Though, if the place offers you numbing or anything like that, it means they are not a very reputable piercer, as numbing will actually make things worse for a piercing in the long run, and it means you won't be able to feel it if they do something wrong! Just try not to look, and breathe out slowly as the needle goes in, it'll be fine!

Of course it would hurt. You have nerves there and everywhere else on your body.
BTW there are a lot of important body organs near your belly button. If that piercing ever gets infected, you can get seriously ill and die.

yep. It also causes quite a rush to your system... both of my friends who had it done actually fainted.. one of them fainted when the needle was first put in.. the other fainted about 4 minutes after her piercing when they were cleaning her up and adjusting the bar... she fell pretty hard.

Everyone has their own pain level. Not everyone can handle pain the same. I didnt feel it except for the pinch. My friend on other hand screamed to death. So it really depends on you

yes, but not that much. the clamp that holds your navel is the worst part. But I won't lie, its not that bad, but it does sting for a bit.

when i was in igh school i did mine myself and it didnt make me cry or anything, it didnt hurt it kinda pinched, depends if your tough or not
