If you read the forums, they say that they are streamlining their ability to violate the correct people and weed-out the false ones. It may take a day or so to be full implemented. Sorry...

Yahoo is developing and testing a program that will review questions and answers for compliance to the CG's and YTOS prior to them getting posted. This program will prevent them from being posted and issue a violation notice to the person. You may have been been part of this test.

All I can suggest is that you be very familiar with the CG's and examine the violation for accuracy. Although, there is a way to appeal your violation directly to the Yahoo Answers Team for review. If found to be wrong the YAT will notify the Customer Care to reintstate the Question and points.

Go to the Forum link at the top right of any Answers page. In the Forum there is a Thread in the top group for New users. Please read it so you don't violate any of the rules (only one major one). Now, go to the "Wrongful Violations and Suspensions", read the intro by Katie, click the reply button on the bottom of her post and post your appeal.

I hope this helps.

I posted 4 Honey and they didn't show up. Plus a resolved question was deleted. At least I have the right to know why since I didn't spread any virus link or being less decent than anyone here with that question. No Honey I don't think they are trying to tease you. But on the other hand, I will move to MSN chat since I heard it is better than here.

That may be a record. I received an unwarranted violation notice, too. Seems like no one is in-charge and that many of the idiots online are "at it." Why can't they use this as a useful forum.
