Andreas Pavel invented, and patented what became the Sony Walkman. Pavel initially called it the "stereobelt." The first time he tested his portable personal cassette player and headphones was in the woods in St. Moritz, Switzerland in 1972. Sony started selling the Walkman in 1979 and for the next two decades fought Pavel in court after he accused the company of stealing his invention without properly compensating him. In 2003 Pavel and Sony settled for a payment said to be "in the low eight figures," which I'd guess to be between ten and twenty million dollars. The Walkman sold for about $200 ($450 today) when it debuted and Sony's sold zillions of them.

in my opinion; the ipod nano is totally nicely suited with itunes and shops music in a very orginized way, the ipod nano is likewise a miles extra constructive form then the walkman. The Sony Walkman is great and all yet, there are various downsides to it one benig that once you're importing music you will desire to seek during the music on your desktops' memory and isnt very prepared in any respect. The Ipod nano through how can nevertheless have music from limewire, and not in basic terms music it particularly is a dollar each. I definetely decide on the Apple Ipod Nano factor, as a proprietor of an ipod touch.
